Sublette and Satanta Municipal Courts
Sublette and Satanta municipal courts are lower local courts for city ordinance violations and traffic or minor offenses inside city limits. Kansas Judicial Branch municipal-court material describes municipal courts as handling city ordinance violations, usually traffic or other minor offenses. Satanta's code states that municipal court has jurisdiction over ordinance violations and follows Kansas municipal court procedure under K.S.A. 12-4101 and related sections.

Haskell County 26th Judicial District
The 26th Judicial District is the regional district court structure for Grant, Haskell, Morton, Seward, Stanton, and Stevens counties. A Haskell County case remains a Haskell County filing, but the judge or district officer connected to the matter may serve more than one county in the district.
